Hallicrafters began production of
the R-48 speaker in 1960. It was a match for the Hallicrafters
HT-37 transmitter and Hallicrafters SX-111 receiver. It has
an eliptical shaped cone and an Alinco V magnet. There is a fidelity
switch for music or voice, and it has 3.2 ohm input impedence. The
measurements are 6 1/2 x 13 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches. It sold new for
$19.95. |
